Switzerland has announced the composition of the participants of the Global Peace Summit

The Swiss government has published a list of participants in the Global Peace Summit, which will take place during this weekend. Representatives of 92 countries and 8 international organizations will take part in the event.

The notification of this appeared on the government's website. With the highest level, more than half of the participants, namely 57 countries, have taken up the Presidents or Prime Ministers. Another 29 states will be represented at the ministerial level.

Five countries, including Indonesia, Israel, united Arab Emirates, South Africa and Philippines, sent their ambassadors to the Peace Summit, while Brazil and the Vatican are represented as observers and not participants.

The Chinese delegation refused to participate, while Saudi Arabia and Mexico, despite previous media reports, will still take part in the event.

The OSCE, the Council of Europe, the European Commission, the European Council, the European Parliament, the Organization of American States and the Ecumenical Patriarchate, are among the international organizations that will appear at the summit.

We will remind that more than 160 delegations were invited to the West. The main topics of discussions of the participating countries will be the Ukrainian formula of peace and road map of the peace process. World leaders will consider specific steps before the end of the war in Ukraine, which will support most countries.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is already in Switzerland at the Peace Summit and shared his expectations.

Earlier, the Presidential Administration noted that Ukraine is actively preparing for the Second Peace Summit, which will discuss the results of the first summit and further steps in the peace process.
