Trump's allies believe he lost the debate with Kamala Harris

On Tuesday, September 10, the debate took place between the candidates for the post of President of the United States-Donald Trump and the current Vice President Kamala Harris. It was the first personal confrontation between the two politicians in the framework of the 2024 presidential elections, and, according to CNN, even Trump's allies believe that he came out of these debate.

About it reports CNN.

It is noted that as soon as Trump left the scene, he immediately began to ask those who waited for him in the room for viewing, how the last 90 minutes passed. Some openly praised him, saying that he did a "wonderful job", but this is not what many of them said privately.

Instead, people from Trump's surroundings noted that what happened on stage, at best, can be considered nothing, and at worst - losing. Some were shocked by the fact that the former President of the United States was unable to effectively outline the thesis he had prepared against Vice president Harris, especially regarding her achievements and political changes.

According to two CNN sources, Trump was preparing for Harris's debate more than for US President Joe Biden's debate this summer. At the same time, he did not voice one of the key arguments against the vice president - why she did not fulfill the promises she now gives in power in 3.5 years. It surprised many who heard Trump as a private argument and during his election campaigns.

In addition, one of the representatives of the Republican team acknowledged that the former president every time got to the bait offered by Harris.

CNN notes that although numerous Trump allies characterized what happened as a "lost opportunity", they began to reduce the overall importance of debate. People from the Republican surroundings claim that in Pennsylvania, the result of debate will not affect his ratings.
