The US and Ukraine have announced a strategic partnership in the field of weapons production and development, including hybrid air defense systems. The agreement on joint production and transfer of technologies was signed by representatives of the Pentagon, the Ministry of Defense of the United States, and the Ministry of Strategic Industry of Ukraine at the US-Ukrainian Conference of Defense and Industrial Base in Washington.
The conference, which has collected about 350 representatives of the US, Ukraine, Ukraine and Europe, discussed the issue of increasing weapons production to support Ukraine. By agreement, cooperation is due to the concentration on air defense systems, the production of critical ammunition and the repair of military equipment.
The White House indicated that the Pentagon and its partners have transferred technologies to the production of hybrid air defense hybrid systems under the Frankensam program. This project is aimed at modernizing outdated air defense systems using Western technologies and ammunition.
