The US is in no hurry to give Ukraine permission to launch long-range strikes against Russia

The British magazine The Economist has published an article that considers the reasons why the United States of America is in no hurry to grant Ukraine's permission to conduct long -range strikes in Russia. The publication indicates that the US is constantly changing their reasons for refusal, and provides two key reasons that, according to journalists, underlie this policy.

First, British officials have suggested that Baiden administration did not want to jeopardize the future "restarting" relations with Moscow.

Secondly, Balen has a "fear of Russian escalation."

Argue with this point of view, the magazine writes that many Putin's "red lines" have crossed without consequences for the event. At the same time, the publication does not exclude that this time the response of the Russian Federation can be the use of tactical nuclear weapons.

“In the extreme, the use of tactical nuclear weapons can never be completely excluded. But it would have horrible consequences, and it is unclear how a change in American policy on the goal will push the situation to this region, ”the article reads.
