The State Department of the United States has started an investigation into a possible violation of US weapons use by Israel's troops during a gas conflict.
This investigation takes place in the context of Joe Biden's administration to reach the Hamas release agreement and Israeli's potential operation in the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Sector. However, the United States and European countries express reservations on such a possible operation.
One of the cases under consideration is the Air Force that happened on October 31 on the densely populated Jabali refugee camp near Gaza. According to US officials, more than 125 people were killed as a result of this blow. Israel claims that the target was the commander Hamas, who was in the tunnel under the building.
US authorities suspect that Israel has used a bomb weighing more than 900 kilograms, which can be made of Washington. The UN Human Rights Office considers this blow to the cause of a significant number of civilian casualties and may consider it a war crime.
Israeli officials refused to comment on the type of weapons used, but noted that they acted to minimize victims among civilians, using a delayed underwriter.
In the case of the State Department, the fact of Israel's abuse of US weapons may be offered various measures, including suspension of military assistance, restrictions on its use or introducing new instructions.
Among other cases considered by the US bodies, it is possible to use white phosphorus during Israel's attacks in Lebanon in mid -October. Under certain conditions, the use of this substance may be prohibited.
On Sunday, US President Joe Biden in a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyaga expressed his position, claiming that "a military operation in Rafah should not continue without a reliable plan for the protection and support of the Palestinians who are there."
Although according to media reports, the White House Head is criticizing Netanyag in private conversations, the US policy on Israel and Gaza remains unchanged.
