The US tested the Minuteman III ballistic missile

The United States conducted a test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (IBR) Minuteman III, which was launched from the Vandenberg Space Forces base in California. The launch was launched by the US military and naval forces, using the naked missile with several managed rockets. According to the base, these tests are designed to demonstrate the readiness and efficiency of the US containment forces in response to the 21st century challenges.

The Minuteman III test included a rocket flight about 4200 miles (approximately 6759 km) to the Marshall Islands in the Pacific. The military noted that launch is the result of multi -year training with the participation of numerous partners.

The Space Base press service noted that such tests were conducted more than 300 times, and this launch is not related to current world events. The purpose of the test is to confirm the safety, reliability and efficiency of the US nuclear forces, which is important to contain potential threats and maintain stability in the world. Similar trials also serve to reassure the United States Allies, which count on American nuclear restraint opportunities.
