US lawmakers threaten that Budapest risks irreparable damage to his relationship with Washington if he does not take any action on the entry of Sweden to the Alliance, Reuters writes.
"Hungary's inaction risks irreparable damage to its relations with the United States and NATO," Senators Gin Shahin and Tom Tillis said.
Hungary remains the only NATO member who has not yet approved Sweden's application for joining the Alliance. The penultimate was Turkey, which exchanged the ratification of Sweden's accession to fighter supply.
Good ally. For the sake of receiving new NATO members, they oppress or bribe the old ones. But most importantly, of course, that the peoples of new members are not asking if they want in NATO.
