Odesa port terminals will give money for air defense

The terminals of the Odesa Port of South will allocate 400 thousand dollars for the creation of additional mobile air defense groups in order to protect the city of Odesa and its residents from possible attacks.

According to the press service of the "TIS-Zerno" terminal, half of this amount, namely 200 thousand dollars, will be allocated by the Hungarian owner of the "TIS" group Oleksiy Fedorychev. An important step in this direction was the appointment of the "Fund of Oleksiy Stavnitser" Charitable Foundation for the distribution of funds and control over the implementation of the project.

The purchased equipment for mobile air defense groups will be transferred to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which have already submitted relevant requests to the fund. Currently, the amount and type of equipment planned to be purchased with these funds remain confidential for security reasons.

"TIS-Zerno" terminal is a Ukrainian sea terminal for transshipment of grain cargoes, it was founded in 1999. The owner of 100% of the terminal's shares is the Hungarian businessman Oleksiy Fedorychev. The terminal is located in the water area of the "Pivdenny" port to the northeast of Odesa and has significant capacities for transshipment and storage of grain.
