Within an hour, stormy debates continued between the deputies, who subsequently grew into physical jackets. There is a protest action under the walls of parliament, where special forces are located. The protesters also gathered at the rear entrance to the parliament, but they were pushed by law enforcement.
On May 13, the Law Committee of Parliament quickly approved the project of the Law on "Inaging" in the third consideration.
Meanwhile, 12 Ministers of the European Union demand from the European Commission to immediately explain the consequences of the adoption of this bill for the European integration of Georgia.
Earlier, it was reported that thousands of citizens gathered in Tbilisi Square, where protests against the adoption of a disputed law on "inaging" continue.
It is also worth noting that Georgia's Justice Minister Rati Bregadze acknowledged that the attacks on protesters were committed by the activists themselves.
Georgia President Salome Zurabishvili addressed an emergency appeal in connection with mass rallies against the "Inaging" bill.
