New satellite images show significant activity along the border between Egypt and gas, where large -scale construction work is ongoing. According to unknown sources in Egypt, an isolated area with high walls in the province of North Sinai is probably built for the potential placement of Palestinian refugees.
The reports also claim that these measures may be related to the preparation for the possible Israeli offensive on the city of Rafach in Gaza. However, the Egyptian government has publicly renounced any reports on such construction actions.
The Minister of Defense of Israel, Joava Gallant, also stated that their country did not intend to evacuate Palestinian civilians to Egypt. This happens against the backdrop of a war in gas provoked by Hamas attack on Israel, during which Egypt constantly emphasized that he would not open his borders for refugees.
