World prices for wheat have reached a maximum in the last year and a half

According to Bloomberg, world wheat prices have increased to the highest level since August 2023. Analysts associate this growth with the deterioration of weather conditions, including frosts in Russia, which can adversely affect the crop.

The publication writes that prices have begun to rise as bad weather and war can reduce the world's spins of wheat, which are at the lowest level for almost decades.

Very good crops in the countries of the Black Sea basin (first of all, in Ukraine and in Russia) have long been holding back world prices. And the cost of wheat remained twice as lower than the record set in 2022. But now the futures have reached a maximum since August, Bloomberg reports.
