Tesla prepares budget electric vehicles and tests unmanned service

Tesla has announced plans to release new, more accessible models of electric vehicles in the first half of 2025. In addition, testing of paid car unmanned vehicles will begin in June this year. Following these statements, the company increased by 4%, which indicates a positive investors' response to a new cost optimization strategy and expand the lineup, Ampercar reports.

Ilon Musk reported that in June 2025 autonomous Tesla cars will appear on the roads of Austin (Texas) without drivers in the cabin. He stressed that the safety of passengers and other road users remains the main priority of the company. The Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) software will also undergo independent tests in other states, including California.

Tesla has confirmed the intention to create more budget models of electric vehicles, but Ilon Musk has reflected from the disclosure of specific parts, such as the price, size and technical characteristics of new cars. The company continues to work on production optimization, which will reduce the cost of cars and make them more accessible to the wider audience.

Launching new electric vehicles and the introduction of unmanned technologies can be important steps in the development of the company, expanding its market and strengthening positions in the field of autonomous transport.
