Moldova President Maya Sandu in an interview for journalist Yuri Dudy stated that Ukraine has never offered to "resolve the issue" with Transnistria. She noted that although Ukrainian officials could express their opinions in the press, there were no official proposals from Kiev on this issue.
"The resolution of the Transnistrian conflict is possible only peacefully," Sandu said.
She added that Chisinau would give up the proposal to knock out Russian peacekeepers from Transnistria.
