The Saudi Arabia was a meeting of delegations of the United States and Russia, whose main purpose was to reach the Marine Trise in the Black Sea. On March 24, US President Donald Trump reported, Reuters reports.
According to him, the negotiations were focused mainly on the cessation of hostilities in the Black Sea. At the same time, other issues were discussed during the meeting, among which the demarcation lines are possible in Ukraine. Trump noted that Washington insists on the termination of Russia's war against Ukraine, and this remains one of the key priorities of the US side.
"We are talking about the territory now. We are talking about a line of demarcation, we talk about energy, ownership of a power plant. Some people say that the United States must own a power plant because we have experience," the US President said.
So far, the details of the negotiations and specific arrangements remain unknown, but the very fact of dialogue between Washington and Moscow testifies to attempts to find diplomatic ways of resolving the conflict.
