On December 27, the annual Globe Soccer Awards ceremony was held in Dubai, which identified the best football in the world in 2024. Real Madrid became the main triumph of the evening, gaining recognition in several key nominations.
The main individual award - the best football player of the year - was received by Wnger Real Madrid and Brazil Vinisius Junior, who was also recognized as the best striker.
Real Madrid was named the best men's football club, and the team representatives received a number of prestigious titles:
- Karlo Ancholotti is the best coach of the year;
- Florentino Perez is the best president of the club;
- Tibo Kurtua - the best goalkeeper of the year (also received a special award for his career);
- Jud Balling is the best midfielder and the owner of the trophy Diego Maradona.
Cristiano Ronaldo was also distinguished among the winners, who was recognized as the best football player in the Middle East. The best Middle Eastern club was Al-Ain (the UAE), and the best trainer in the region-George Zhezush from Al-Hill.
Special awards for his careers were received by Neymar, Rio Ferdinand and Alessandro del Piero.
