Next week, a meeting will be held in Sweden in an extraordinary format, dedicated to the support of Ukraine in the conditions of changes in the political leadership in the USA. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, emphasizing the need for the unity of the West in matters of supporting Ukraine and ensuring general security.
The participants of the event will be representatives of the Scandinavian countries, the Baltic States and Poland. As Tusk reported.
This initiative is designed to strengthen cooperation in the region and develop a joint strategy to support Ukraine, taking into account possible changes in international politics after the elections in the USA.
After a conversation with Donald Tusk, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced that Poland is preparing two new defense packages for Ukraine. These steps emphasize Warsaw's consistency in supporting Kyiv against the background of growing security challenges.
Tusk emphasized that the consolidation of the efforts of Western countries is key to countering Russian aggression.
