KFC has released a limited EAU D'Aardo perfume series that impress the classic aroma of their secret recipe for the most famous fried chicken with 11 spices. These scents are now available to consumers in Spain, where they can be purchased as an additional product in fast food establishments.
The name of the perfume, EAU D'Aardo, is a reference to the viral Internet meme that came from the KFC Spanish marketing team during Christmas 2021. This meme reflected Spanish names, appointing them with everyday objects, such as "Eduardo" chicken shin, which later became a Christmas decoration. The design of a jar of perfume reproduces this meme, depicting the shin of chicken.
EAU D'Aardo advertising emphasizes the aroma inspired by the classic KFC chicken spice mixture. The aroma specifications include geranium, tangerine, bergamot and a slight shade of pink pepper.
The launch of EAU D'Aardo perfumes is accompanied by a video academia that has paroded the advertising of luxurious perfumes.
This is not the first time KFC makes unexpected movements from its usual sphere. Earlier, promoting sun protection against "crunchy" summer leather, the company released a limited series of sunscreen with the aroma of fried Extra Crisp chicken in 2016.
