Information on the possible termination of hot water supply in the capital of Ukraine in the summer is not true. This was announced on May 14 by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA).
The Kyivteploenergo utility company assured that hot water in the capital will be supplied in full -time mode, except in cases of accidents or hydraulic tests. The company also called on the media not to disseminate false information, which was voiced by individual "experts" on the alleged cessation of hot water supply due to lack of gas or economic problems.
"Hot water supply will be carried out in normal mode. Temporary termination is possible only in case of accidents or scheduled work," - the message reads.
In the event of emergencies, usually the liquidation lasts no more than a day, after which the service is restored. As for hydraulic tests, these regulatory work is necessary for checking and preparing the heating networks for the heating season. They usually last up to two weeks, with a possible continuation in case of damage.
The KSCA emphasizes that utilities are already actively training networks so that residents of the capital have stable heat supply in winter.
