Labubo's widespread popularity has grown thanks to Pop Mart, which produces Blind Box character figures - when the buyer does not know which model he will get. Usually a standard toy costs about 50 yuan (about $ 7), but due to rare limited series, the price of some specimens can grow rapidly.
A special demand for Labuba has emerged after the toy has started to appear regularly on social networks among Chinese celebrities.
