In the sky, Russian aircraft of far radar detection (DRLV) A-50U appeared again. This may indicate the preparation of a large -scale operation of the Russian Federation in the Sumy region.
At least one Russian A-50U is noticed near the border. The purpose is to carry out radar intelligence and preparation for hostilities. It is unclear whether it is a rotation of several aircraft, or single departments with great intervals. A-50In gives more accurate guidance than drones, and can coordinate attacks.
Due to these losses, Russia has increased the protection of A-50U Su-30cm fighters and began to modernize aircraft. Updated machines have received improved AFFA radars capable of identifying even inconspicuous goals (such as ATACMS and Scalp-EG missiles).
Restoration of A-50U flights can be a signal to activate hostilities in Sumy region. Ukrainian air defense should be prepared for increasing the enemy's aviation activity and new blows.
