President of Belarus Oleksandr Lukashenko stated that in the event of a breach of the border of the Union State, Belarus may respond with a nuclear blow. This statement was an echo of previous statements of Lukashenko about the threats from Ukraine and emphasizes increased tensions on the border between the two countries.
"We do not intend to use nuclear weapons until the enemy crosses the border of the Union State. There will be no red lines in Belarus in case of border breach, the answer will be instantaneous," Lukashenko said.
According to him, more than 20 Belarusian brigades and battalion groups that will be involved at the border with Ukraine have already been identified to prevent breakthrough.
We will remind, last week Lukashenko stated that Ukrainian drones violated the airspace of Belarus and were shot. And before that he argues that the Armed Forces concentrate forces on the border.
