The Russian State Duma has approved a number of laws that legalize cryptocurrency, which will be an important step in solving problems with international calculations caused by US sanctions.
New regulations that will come into force on November 1, 2024 allow mining cryptocurrencies, as well as carrying out foreign trade payments and exchange trading of cryptocurrencies within the experiment.

Only Russian legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will have the right to mining cryptocurrency. In this case, the authorities can impose a ban on mining in certain regions.
