Kyle Parker supplied 30,000 dollars worth of sniper equipment to the Armed Forces. and often made trips to the Ukrainian front, reports The New York Times.
He is a senior adviser to the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, known as the Helsinki Commission, which actively supports Ukraine.
He also hired a Ukrainian official to work on a US , despite objections from congressional ethics and security officials. And he traveled along the front line of Ukraine in camouflage and with Ukrainian military insignia.
The investigation believes that the transfer of weapons may make him an unregistered foreign agent, since he "willingly or unwittingly became a target and object of use by foreign intelligence." The case may be turned over to the FBI.
Parker's representative said he had done nothing wrong but was the target of a "retribution campaign" for allegations of wrongdoing against the report's authors.
The head of the Helsinki Commission recommended that Parker be released in order to protect national security, citing "serious alleged wrongdoing involving Ukrainian and other foreign persons."
It will be recalled that in December 2022, Parker at Prytula's company brought the DPR flag to Congress and polished his shoes with it.
It was previously reported that the Pentagon has initiated more than 50 criminal cases regarding US aid to Ukraine.
