In Turkey Sibiga, Rubio and Graham coordinated positions

On May 14, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine met with May 14 with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Senator Lindsey Grame. The main topic of negotiations were future Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, as well as possible actions in the event of their disruption.

According to CNN, Marco Rubio arrived in Turkey after traveling with US President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia and Qatar. His visit to Antalya took place against the backdrop of the growing tension around the peace process between Ukraine and Russia.

In his message on the social network X (former Twitter), Sibiga noted that the parties "discussed the logic of further steps in detail and shared the approaches." According to him, the meeting was the opportunity to coordinate positions before negotiations in Istanbul and to prepare for the probable failure of peaceful dialogue by Russia.

"We are ready to develop our cooperation in a constructive and mutually beneficial way. It is extremely important for Russia to reciprocate Ukraine's constructive steps. It has not yet done it," the Foreign Minister emphasized.

Sibiga confirmed Ukraine's commitment to the peaceful efforts of President Trump and thanked the United States for active participation in support of diplomatic initiatives.
