The following week in Warsaw there will be negotiations, which the Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorsky called "the most important" in the context of Russia's war against Ukraine. The meeting will be held on November 19 in the Weimar Triangle+, with the participation of EU, Germany, Poland and France. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sibiga will be represented in the negotiations.
The Weimar Triangle, which includes Germany, Poland and France, has long become a platform for discussing key security issues in Europe. Adding to this format representatives of Ukraine and the European Union demonstrates increased diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict.
The meeting is expected to be present at the meeting, who will soon hold the post of high EU representative on foreign policy and security policy, replacing Josepa Borrel. Its involvement symbolizes the importance of negotiations in the context of new EU approaches to resolving the crisis.
Radoslav Sikorsky, who is the organizer of the meeting, emphasized the need for open dialogue and a fair approach to war issues. He stressed that it is ready to convey to Russia a simple and direct position:
Sikorsky also noted that the main topic of discussion will be to find ways to end the war, observe international law and restore Ukraine sovereignty.
Andriy Sibiga will be represented by Ukraine, who will bring the position of Kiev on the need to strengthen international support, both political and military. The Ukrainian delegation is expected to emphasize the importance of maintaining sanctions against Russia, the supply of weapons and humanitarian assistance.
