According to the Tagesschau Thogsschau TV program, German companies are involved in Russian construction in occupied Mariupol. This reconstruction, which became necessary after the siege of the city two years ago by Russian troops, is important for the Kremlin.
According to the investigation, German companies, in particular, Knauf Corporation, are involved in the construction of building materials used on the construction of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
The investigation also mentions WKB Systems from Munsterland, which produces equipment for the production of porous concrete, which is also used in construction in Mariupol.
It is noted that the main shareholder of WKB Systems is Russian businessman Viktor Budarin. This company supplies its products to a Russian firm, which also owns Budarin.
Despite the importance of construction to restore the city, the exact number of civilians who died during the siege remains unknown. However, by the number of burials that appeared during and after the siege, this number can exceed 10,000 people. Mariupol was badly damaged during the conflict, and now the Russian propaganda media is actively covering the city's restoration process.
