Trump's order will not affect the supply of weapons to Ukraine

US President Donald Trump's decree on 90-day pause in international assistance will not affect the supply of military support for Ukraine. About it reports Voice of America with reference to representatives of the Pentagon.

Pentagon representatives explained that the restrictions provided for in the Decree relate only to development programs, not security or military support. Thus, the supply of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is carried out under USAI programs (initiative to promote the security of Ukraine) will remain unchanged.

The contracts concluded by the Presidential Administration Joe Baiden for weapons for Ukraine remain valid.

Pentagon also stressed that the decree did not affect the supply of weapons from US warehouses, previously announced under the PDA Program (PDA). This means that previously planned military support will be continued unchanged.
