In Ukraine, a project called "smart-mobilization" is being prepared for launch. Citizens will now have the opportunity to choose the specialization they would like to mobilize. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov, in an interview for RBC-Ukraine.
According to Mikhail Fedorov, the pilot project "Smart-mobilization" will be launched in the coming months or two. The idea is that citizens can choose a specialization in which they would like to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The new initiative will give citizens the opportunity to choose who they want to be - the operator of drones, Saper, driver, and many other positions.
The Minister claims that this approach will allow citizens to get acquainted with units and positions, to understand their responsibilities and risks related to the chosen specialization. After submitting the application and the selection and tests, citizens will be trained and then serve in their chosen position.
The innovative "smart mobilization" approach enables citizens not only to consciously approach the service in the Armed Forces, but also to increase the motivation and efficiency of the service. This pilot project will be the first step in the direction of a more flexible and personalized mobilization system in Ukraine.
Minister Mikhail Fedorov also emphasized that the newsletter of the narratives through the application "Action" is not planned, which means that citizens will choose their own path of service in the armed forces and mobilize at their own request.
