In November 2023, 948 new cases of HIV and 1,433 cases of tuberculosis were officially registered in Ukraine, reports the Center for Public Health.
According to information provided in the report, it is stated that among these new cases of HIV infection, 297 patients found AIDS, and 141 people lost their lives from the disease.
The Center for Public Health also pointed to the ways of HIV infection in November 2023 in Ukraine: heterosexual-708, homosexual-24, parenteral-213, from mother to child-120 (it is noted that most of these children do not have HIV infection after 18 months), unknown-2.
Public health data also indicate that during November 2023, 1,433 cases of tuberculosis were registered in Ukraine, including 1 110 new cases of the disease, 245 patients with relapse, 34 patients who resumed treatment after a break, 24 patients who have begun treatment after failure.
