Ukraine continues to demonstrate significant progress in implementing reforms on the way to membership in the European Union, despite the extremely difficult situation caused by Russian aggression. Given the achievements of Ukraine in this direction, the President of the European Council Anthony Right believes that the country may become part of the EU by 2032. This is an important confirmation of Ukraine and the EU's obligations to integrate and associate to achieve common goals.
In his speech at the West of the Center for European Policy, dedicated to the 68th anniversary of the signing of Roman treaties, which became the basis for the creation of the European Union, the cost noted that thanks to the serious efforts of the Ukrainian government and citizens in war, Ukraine was able to achieve striking results in reforming its economy, political institutions.
"It is very striking to see how a war -in -war country can achieve results in reforms and fulfill goals on the way to the European Union. I cannot say for sure whether it will be 2030, 2028 or 2032. But I know one thing: this process is based on achievements, and Ukraine reaches these results." He also noted that an important factor is not a specific entry date, but the constant improvement and development of the country, which meets the requirements of the European Union.
The cost also drew attention to the importance of EU preparation to participate in the recovery process of Ukraine after the end of the war. The European Council has already instructed the European Commission to work on the formation of a "coalition of those", which should combine resources for the reconstruction of the country. This will require considerable collective efforts and investments from the entire European community.
"The restoration of Ukraine is not only a strategic step for the Ukrainians themselves, but also for Europe. We must be ready for this process now, and the EU has to act quickly and decisively to help Ukraine as effectively as possible," - said Rot.
One of the most important aspects of the President of the Euro Council is to emphasize that the EU enlargement, the support of the Western Balkans, Ukraine and Moldova on the way to membership is the best geopolitical investment for the European Union. Raven stressed that the inclusion of these countries in the EU will promote stability and security not only in the region but also on the European continent as a whole.
"The European Union should be open to all countries that share our values and are ready to work on the achievement of a common goal. EU expansion is a strategic investment that strengthens our security and influences stability around the world," the President of the Euro Council said.
