Ukraine will continue to receive French Mirage fighters that are already helping to protect the country's airspace. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron on March 26.
Zelensky thanked the French leader for the aircraft transferred and stressed that they became part of Ukraine's air shield. He noted that Mirage fighters are effectively used to counteract Russian attacks, including the fight against Iranian Drone-Kamikadze "Shahd" and other air threats.
"We have spoken that we will increase the amount of Mirage," Zelensky stressed, confirming further cooperation in the military sphere.
France has already provided Ukraine with a number of Mirage fighters that are used to strengthen air defense and protect strategic facilities. New supplies of aircraft are expected to help significantly strengthen the defense capability of the Ukrainian sky and increase the efficiency of combating Russian air attacks.
