Ukraine will receive Miraage 2000-5 fighter from France by the end of the first quarter

France plans to transfer Miraage 2000-5 fighters to Ukraine by the end of the first quarter of 2025. This was reported by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro in an interview with Sud Radio.

"French 'mirages will fly over Ukraine soon," Barro said, confirming that the transfer of combat aircraft will take place in the coming months, in particular, before the end of the first quarter of 2025. This is part of a military assistance package from France, which includes modern aviation equipment to support the fight against Russia's aggression.

Miraage 2000-5 fighters are one of the most modern combat aircraft currently in service with the French Air Force. They are equipped with an advanced avionic and are able to perform a wide range of tasks, from air combat to attack on land purposes. As these planes have already proven effective in different regions, their transfer to Ukraine is a significant step in increasing the country's defense capability.

According to official statements, France is ready to continue Ukraine's support, providing it not only with aviation equipment, but also other types of weapons to confront Russian aggression.
