Ukraine has already concluded 17 security agreements with international partners, including seven agreements signed with all G7 members. Currently, 10 more such agreements are being prepared for signing.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening address. He reported that during the G7 summit met with Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of British Rice Sunak, Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kisida, Head of Italian Council of Ministers George Meloni and US President Joseph Biden.
In addition, security agreements with the United States and Japan have been signed, so all G7 countries now have bilateral security guarantees with Ukraine. "There are now seven security agreements - with all the G7 countries. And in total 17 agreements have already been signed, we are preparing another 10," Zelensky said.
On June 13, after signing the historic security agreement between the US and Ukraine, the presidents of both states, Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a joint press conference, which discussed the main issues.
During his visit to Italy, within the G7 summit, President Zelensky and Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kisida signed an agreement on security cooperation that made Japan in the 16th country that concluded this important document. The previous country was Norway.
