As part of the Bring Kids Back UA , five Ukrainian children, together with families, were able to return to Ukraine -controlled territory. This humanitarian operation was the next step in the fight for the return of Ukrainians who were occupied or forcibly exported to Russia.
Among the returned are three young Ukrainians who have recently reached the age of majority. Two of them were in Russia for a long time, where psychological pressure was suffered. The third young man, deprived of family support, was finally able to leave the temporarily occupied territory.
In addition, a family of four people, in which children aged 11 and 14, were persecuted because of the pro -Ukrainian position of their parents. A 77-year-old woman who could not be evacuated on her own was particularly helpful.
"Their stories are evidence of what terror and fear are forced to live under occupation. The coordination of actions of state bodies, volunteers, public organizations and international partners has allowed to achieve this result - Ukrainians who have experienced difficult trials, finally at home," said the head of the Presidential Office.
Bring Kids Back UA initiative continues to work on the liberation of Ukrainian children who have been victims of forced deportation and supports their families. These successful operations are an example of the coordinated work of the state and the international community.
