Ukraine returned the bodies of 909 servicemen who died in battles against the Russian invaders. This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters on the Defense of Prisoners of Pursuing Friday, April 18.
It is noted that among the dead are the defenders who were in different directions of the front, in particular:

The bodies that were in the Russian morgues were also returned.
The process of returning bodies was made possible by the coordinated work of a number of structures: coordination, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the SBU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ombudsman's Office for Human Rights, the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Persons of missing persons in special circumstances, SES and other responsible bodies.
The procedure was also attended by the International Committee of the Red Cross, which contributed to the establishment of humanitarian interaction.
The law enforcement agencies and expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will establish persons of dead soldiers in the shortest possible time.
