The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine held a closed meeting of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, which discussed the possible consequences of suspension of US military assistance.
According to Fyodor Venislavsky, the People's Deputy and the Defense Committee of Fyodor Venislavsky, Ukraine has a stability of about half a year even without systematic support from the US. However, the situation can be much more complicated. Therefore, work is underway to find alternative sources of supply of critically important weapons.
Venislavsky emphasized that the Ukrainian military-industrial complex has strengthened significantly over the last three years and is able to compensate for some of the needs of the army. However, some types of weapons, including air defense systems and high -precision reactive systems of volley fire, can only be supplied by the United States.
The main task is to provide Ukraine with Ukraine's air defense, as well as finding the possibilities of replacing American weapons by other partners.
