Today, Ukraine is actively considering different options for peace and ending the war, but the main obstacle is the Russian Federation, which blocks the basic proposal - a ceasefire for 30 days. This was stated by the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces) Alexander Sirsky, reporting the results of his negotiations with the head of the European Union Military Committee, General Robert Briger.
He explained that Ukraine seeks a peaceful resolution of the conflict, but Russia continues to refuse to cease fire. Syrsky noted that at the international level the issue of optimization of military cooperation with the EU is discussed, in particular, in terms of supplying to Ukraine ammunition and air defense (air defense). According to him, these components are necessary to maintain the efficiency of hostilities and to strengthen Ukraine's defense capability.
During the negotiations, General Sirsky also explained that Ukraine was reorganizing its Armed Forces, including the transition to the corps structure of the Armed Forces. This will better coordinate hostilities and use the available resources efficiently. In addition, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces discussed the important issues of preparation of Ukrainian fighters, expanding cooperation in military training and optimization of military processes.
Against the background of these discussions, an important aspect is that Ukraine considers all possible options for peaceful conflict resolution. At the same time, it faces serious difficulties in negotiations with Russia, which at that moment does not show readiness for peace initiatives.
