President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief, which was dedicated to the purchase of drones for 2025. The Head of State announced this in his video message on January 11.
The meeting addressed issues related to operations with drones and procurement of everything necessary for the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Zelensky noted that both the current contracts and those planned for execution in the future were discussed. The main purpose is to make 2025 a record in the number of drones of all kinds, as well as to significantly increase the production of missiles, artillery and other equipment.
"I have instructed to increase the number of drones. It is already done. Our arsenals are one of the guarantees of independence, as is the accuracy of our soldiers," the President emphasized.
The President emphasized the importance of cooperation between weapons, government officials and all persons involved in the process. He noted that joint efforts Ukraine should achieve a significant increase in the production of defense equipment, which is critical for maintaining the country's independence.
Zelensky also thanked all units that strike at military facilities and logistics in the Russian Federation. He stressed that the important results of such operations should become numerous.
