During February 2025, almost 3.3 thousand used cars from the United States were registered in Ukraine, which is much more than 2.6 thousand in January. Such data is given by Ukravtoprom.
The largest share among imported cars is electric vehicles - 42%. Popular in second place are gasoline cars, which occupy 41% of the market. Hybrid cars were covered by 7%, and diesel cars and cars with HBO - 5%.
The average age of cars with a mileage that was replenished by the Ukrainian fleet in February is 6 years.
The leaders among used American cars became:
- Tesla Model Y - 419 units;
- Tesla Model 3 - 416 units;
- Ford Escape - 234 units;
- Jeep Cherokee - 187 units;
- Nissan Rogue - 160 units.
The increase in demand for electric vehicles can be explained by their cost -effectiveness and environmental friendliness, as well as expanding the network of charging stations in Ukraine. At the same time, the popularity of gasoline cars remains high due to the availability of their purchase and repair.
