Ukraine lacks at least 150-170 vegetable warehouses for efficient storage of the entire vegetable harvest. This was announced by Dmytro Solomchuk, People's Deputy and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, during a press conference at the Ukraine Media Center.
"Unfortunately, we do not have enough vegetable storage. This year, agrarians built about 15 additional ones, but even if we take into account these new ones, we currently lack at least 150-170 such warehouses for storing the harvest," said the deputy.
He emphasized that efficient storage is crucial for ensuring a sufficient amount of vegetables on the Ukrainian market until the next harvest.
