In 2024, the IT industry of Ukraine demonstrated a record contribution to the state budget, paying more than $ 1 billion taxes. These data were published by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, which refers to the results of the Digital Tiger 2024 study.
According to the study, the IT industry of Ukraine holds a leadership position among all Ukrainian export services, occupying first place in exports and second-in total export. IT services from Ukraine are exported to 147 countries of the world, and companies such as Microsoft, Meta, NASA, IBM, Siemens and Google are among the technologists that order Ukrainian services.
Ukrainian IT companies are actively expanding their presence in international markets, with more than 90% of them planning to promote their products in markets such as the USA, the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Israel and other countries. The Ukrainian startup ecosystem has a place among the three fastest growing in Central and Eastern Europe, which indicates a high level of development of innovative technologies in the country.
An important part of Ukraine's success in the IT sector is its ability to innovation and digitalization. It has been noted that Ukraine continues to be a leader in innovation, introducing unique services, such as online marriage, the fastest business registration through the Action and Educational Services. In addition, Ukrainian technological products, including Betterme, Gitlab, Cargofy, Restream, Reply, People.ai, Macpaw, Grammarly, Petcube and others, are actively used by both people and businesses around the world.
