On March 20, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the high activity of the Russian troops in several directions of the front, in particular in the Pokrovsky and Toretsky directions, which recorded the highest number of attacks in the last day. According to the summary, 155 combat clashes occurred on the front during March 19, and Ukrainian troops caused the enemy of tangible losses in living strength and equipment.
According to representatives of the General Staff, Ukrainian aviation, missile troops and artillery destroyed 10 areas of concentration of Russian personnel, weapons and equipment, 4 management points, 2 air defense means, 10 units of missile troops and artillery, as well as important facilities, such as radio electronic stations.
Particularly difficult is the situation in the Pokrovsky and Toretsky directions. In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 47 storms of Russian troops in areas of settlements, such as Tarasivka, Elizabeth, Promin, Lisivka and others. This testifies to the continuous and large -scale attempts by the enemy, who were effectively reflected in the Defense forces of Ukraine.
In the Toretsky direction, the situation remains critical: in the past day, 21 attacks of Russians near the Crimean, Toretsk, Dachny and Diliyivka were recorded. These territories have long become one of the hottest points of conflict, and constant battles there are evidence of persistent attempts by the enemy to expand their position in this strategically important region.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops tried to break through the defense in the Volchansk and two -year -old areas five times, but each time their attacks were reflected. There were also six invaders attacks in the Kupyansk direction, which were stopped in the Zarizovy and Petropavlivka area.
In the Lyman region, the enemy conducted 15 attacks, trying to move in the territory near Yampolovka and settlements of Nove, Novomikhailivka and the Green Valley. The Defense Forces of Ukraine reflected these attacks and kept strategically important positions.
The defense forces also successfully reflected attacks in other areas, including Novopavlovsky, Orikhiv and Gulyaypil directions. It should be noted separately that in the Novopavlovsky direction 13 enemy attacks were stopped in the regions of the Chief, Backing and Constantinople, and in the Orikhiv direction the Ukrainian troops reflected seven attacks near Stepovoy and Pubkovo.
Equally important is the situation in the Kursk region of Russia, where Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled 22 attacks of Russian troops, and aviation strikes and shelling from the RSSV were also recorded.
