Ukrzaliznytsia plans to restore online selling tickets in the near future

Ukrzaliznytsia reported that the online sale of tickets will be restored in the near future, although the exact date of recovery has not been announced. Currently, ticket sales only lasts at the cash desks, but the company is actively working to restore online services so that passengers can buy tickets through a mobile app or site, as it was before.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia Alexander Pertsovsky on the air of the television channel. He explained that the railway is doing everything possible to start online systems faster, and advised passengers who plan to travel today to contact the cash desks. For those planning travel from April 1, Ukrzaliznytsia expects that online services will be restored.

Pertsovsky also noted that Ukrzaliznytsia has strengthened the work of railway offices and increased the number of employees. For example, in Kiev instead of eight cash desks, as it was before, eighteen. For convenience of passengers, tea, coffee and water are provided near the cash desks to reduce the inconvenience of waiting.

Particular attention is paid to providing tickets for military, people with disabilities and families with children. All train crews have received instructions and can design tickets for those passengers who did not have time to buy tickets at the box office.

Despite the large-scale cyberattack that influenced the online systems of Ukrzaliznytsia, the company reported that all trains continue to run on a schedule. In addition, if you refuse to sell a ticket, passengers can contact a hotline or on the social network of Ukrzaliznytsia to solve the problem.

For those who return tickets, Ukrzaliznytsia organized an e -mail to register a return. Passengers can send a ticket and a receipt, and the company will handle the return online after the service is restored.
