Ukrzaliznytsia presented a new medical train equipped with modern equipment for the evacuation of wounded servicemen. The train includes eight upgraded cars, among which one is specially equipped for intensive care.
This medical train is equipped with all the necessary devices for safe transportation of the wounded. The wagons have generators for autonomous nutrition, oxygen concentrators, apparatus of artificial lung ventilation (IVL), blood transfusion equipment and cardio monitors. All this allows to provide a high level of medical care during transportation of even the most severe cases.
The project was implemented thanks to the joint work of Ukrzaliznytsya with the doctors of the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Kolo Charitable Foundation, which provided the necessary equipment for the wagons. From the beginning of a full -scale invasion, railways have converted 78 wagons for medical needs, including resuscitation and stationary.
This step is important to ensure a reliable and rapid medical evacuation of the military who suffered from hostilities. Given the growing needs for medical transportation, this train is another step in the development of infrastructure to save lives.
