The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision to allocate UAH 113 million from the State Budget Reserve Fund to pay for consulting services related to the preparation for the conclusion of an important agreement with the United States of America. The relevant order of Government No. 316 was open.
According to the document, these funds will be aimed at attracting international law companies and consultants with experience in the field of public debt management and external borrowing. The main purpose is to ensure a quality preparation of the negotiation position of Ukraine in the process of negotiations on the creation of an investment fund of reconstruction, which can become one of the key tools in the post -war restoration of the country.
The Ministry of Economy has allocated UAH 59 million and the Ministry of Justice - 54 million. Specialists who are planning to attract should take into account the specifics of the legislation of both countries - Ukraine and the USA - for the development of the legal and economic basis for the future agreement.
The first Viceremier - Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko reported that this week the Ukrainian delegation will depart to Washington. It will be deputy ministers of economy and justice. At this stage, the participation of high -ranking officials is not envisaged, as mainly technical consultations will be held.
As previously stated by the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga, Kyiv has already formed its position on the terms of a potential agreement with the United States in the field of mineral resources. This should be the next step in strengthening Ukraine's energy security, diversifying raw materials and attracting US investment in strategically important industries.
In general, the Cabinet's decision testifies to the serious intentions of the Ukrainian authorities in the formation of long -term partnerships with the United States, focused on economic growth and post -war rebuilding of the country.
