The French government announced its resignation

On December 4, the National Assembly of France supported the vote of distrust of the government, headed by Prime Minister Michel Barnier. This decision was the result of pressure from the left coalition "New People's Front" and the far -right "National Association".

Prime Minister Michel Barnier, who headed the government, said that the reality of financial challenges was a key cause of loss of confidence. In his speech, he said:
"I would prefer to give out money, although we do not have them. But this reality remains, it will not disappear by the magic wand."

Political tension in the country has grown over the recent months due to economic difficulties, budget disputes and dissatisfaction with the public. The last vote of distrust of the government in France was expressed in 1962, which emphasizes the scale of the current political crisis.

President Emmanuel Macron has already said that he would present a new prime minister within 24 hours. Among the possible successors of Michelle Barnier, analysts are called Minister of Armed Forces Sebastian Lecorton and Centrist Francois leader.

The task of the new head of government will be not only in the formation of the Cabinet of Ministers, but also in stabilizing the situation after Barnier's resignation and in the restoration of the confidence of parliament and society.
