The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has restored the procedure for granting criticality to enterprises, which allows to book employees from mobilization. The first seven enterprises have already undergone the procedure under new criteria, the first Viceremier-Minister-Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko said.
- Critical criteria:
The first new status was received by businesses that work in the following industries:- Production of glass products,
- furniture,
- textile,
- ceramic tile and others.
Companies can book their employees for up to 12 months.
- Old status is valid:
enterprises that have not yet updated criticality can also book employees. However, they need to undergo update until February 28, 2025, which is the extreme period to extend such reservation. - Demand for reservation:
according to Yulia Sviridenko, for the first two days of the system's restoration through the "Action" platform, the company filed 3500 applications for booking 26.7 thousand employees. This testifies to significant demand among enterprises that seek to ensure the stability of their activities during the war.
The booking mechanism is an important tool for maintaining economics in wartime. It allows critical businesses to store the key personnel needed to ensure uninterrupted operation, production and supply of important goods.
This solution also contributes to the transparency of the process, because the renewal of the status of enterprises occurs according to clear criteria. At the same time, the introduction of reservation through "action" facilitates the application and makes the process more accessible.
