Police in the Kharkiv region detained an 83-year-old man suspected of deploying children in the pedestrian tourism section for schoolchildren. He worked at the educational institution as the head of the section, as well as a janitor in combination.

"It turned out that in the gym during the classes he corrupted 11-year-old girls. All this happened in the early 2021-2022.
The child told law enforcement officers that during the class, the head of the circle stroked her intimate body parts. She tried to resist, to break out, but the suspect always did so when he put the children on tourist equipment, and masked the corruption.
The testimony was also given by a classmate of the girl. They also went to the tourist circle and everyone insisted: he did it intentionally. The man committed such sexual violence against sixth graders more than once and used the fact that there were no other adults in the classroom.
"The worst thing is that the Lyceum staff, the head of the circles, teachers got to the side of their colleague and give him the best characteristics," Bolvinov said, adding that the police had been gathering evidence for a long time. The attacker faces 15 years in prison or life imprisonment. He is currently under 24 -hour house arrest.
