In the capital there was a presentation of the layout reconstruction of the sacred architecture of Trypillian culture - a temple, which once existed on the site of the present village of Nebelivka in the Kirovograd region. The event was held at the Scientific and Technical Library. GI Denysenko NTUU “KPI” on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the discovery of Trypillian culture.
The layout of the temple, created by the researcher of Trypillian culture, Vladimir Pereginets, has a scale of 1 to 30: 2 meters long and 70 centimeters wide. Professor-archeologist Mikhail Vidiko emphasized the huge size of the temple and the importance of archeological excavations.
Archaeological studies conducted by Ukrainian and British archaeologists in the territory of the Kirovograd region led to the detection of a temple, which was not found earlier among the rest of the cult buildings of the Trypillians.
According to Vidik, the temple has existed for at least 6 thousand years, starting from the 4th millennium BC. The dimensions of the structure are affected - 60 x 20 meters (1200 square meters), with the main entrance directed to the sunrise during solstice and equinox.
Seven altars were found in the temple, indicating the importance of the Trypillian place. Historical data also indicate that about 5-6 thousand people who were engaged in various activities, including land cultivation, beer production, weaving and production of clay utensils, lived in the Trypillian settlement.
During the presentation, MP Ivan Zayets emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage and continuation of work, even in difficult times, noting that we should preserve and keep everything that was created by previous generations and present.
