In Germany, a number of sabotages against warships and naval bases have been recorded. German Navy Commander Jan Christian Kaak reported the destruction of more than one military vessel as a result of sabotage, as well as attempts to penetrate into naval bases from both land and sea.
According to Kaak, the Bundesver received information about cases of invasion of military facilities and attempts to approach the soldiers returning home. “Our assessment: we are being tested. They try to shake our society, both at the national level and within the Alliance. And perhaps they create the basis for further active hostilities, ”the commander emphasized.
These incidents are of serious concern among the German military, as they may be part of a wider destabilization strategy aimed at weakening Germany and NATO security.
The media also mentioned the inspection on the Emden ship in January, during which they found that several kilograms of metal shavings were thrown into its power plant, but Kaak did not confirm the incident. This indicates serious threats to the safety of marine equipment and infrastructure of Germany.
